Despite cool damp weather, a group of approximately 50 enthusiastic supporters gathered at the trailhead to celebrate the dedication of the Lake Madison Recreational Trail. A variety of local and state officials who were instrumental in the 4.2-mile trail’s development took part in a ribbon-cutting ceremony Oct. 17 near Flynn Field in Madison.

The Lake Madison Recreational Trail is now open!  The trail was made possible by federal, state and local partners.  Please review the rules for your walking, jogging, cycling, rollerblading and electric wheelchair enjoyment.
