The Community Center
1.
All members or guests must check-in at the front
desk prior to using the facility
2.
All guests must fill-out the appropriate guest
register and sign a waiver form, before utilizing the
facility
3.
No alcohol or tobacco products are allowed in the
Center
4.
Food, gum or drinks are not allowed in the
gymnasium, multi-purpose, fitness room, racquetball
courts, aerobics room and locker rooms. Water is
permitted
5.
Customers may use the front desk phone for
emergency purposes only. A Courtesy phone is located
to the right of the front desk
6.
Fighting or use of profanity will not be
tolerated. Violation may result in expulsion from the
Center and/or loss of membership privileges
7.
Stealing, vandalism or any criminal act will not
be tolerated.
8.
Physical or verbal abuse to patrons, staff, or
property may result in expulsion from the Center; loss
of membership privileges, and/or criminal charges may be
pursued
9.
Children under 6 years old must be supervised at
all times by a guardian 16 years or older, while in the
building or be checked-in the child center during
designated hours
10.
No one under the age of twelve will be admitted
to The Community Center before noon without a legal
guardian unless involved in a supervised program.
(Guardian must be at least 16 yrs of age)
11.
Children 13 years and under using the racquetball
courts must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or
older)
12.
Racquetball court reservations may be made
one-day in advance. Goggles are required when playing
racquetball. Racquets are available for a $2.00 usage
fee
13.
The Community Center is not responsible for lost
or stolen items. The Community Center is not
responsible for any items that are left at the Community
Center or that’s placed in the Lost –N- Found. The
Community Center has a designated Lost-N-Found area.
Items in the Lost-N-Found area are kept for two weeks
and then given to charity
14.
No skateboards or scooters allowed in the
facility or on the facility’s sidewalks. Roller-blades
are allowed in the multi-purpose gym only. Children 13
years of age or younger must have an adult (18 years of
age) supervise them
15.
No running in the hallways or other “designated”
walkways inside The Community Center
16.
Parking is only allowed in the east and southwest
parking lots. Parking directly in front of the building
is not allowed. Violators will be subject to ticketing
and towing at owners expense
17.
No person may use a camcorder, motion picture
camera, or photographic camera of any type, to
videotape, film, photograph, or record by electronic
means, any other person or area of The Community Center
without the consent or knowledge of that other person,
in any locker room, bathroom, or facility of the City of
Madison in which the other person has a reasonable
expectation of privacy

DISCIPLINARY ACTION
It shall
be a violation for any member or guest not complying
with any written or oral rules, regulations, or
requirements imposed by The Community Center personal.
Personal conduct in the Community Center must be such
that the safety of self and others is not jeopardized.
Any such violation may result in immediate removal from
the Community Center and/or subject to revocation of
membership that is outlined in Community Center policy
#203.
Disciplinary action may be taken as a result of behavior
or act, which violates any Community Center policy.
Community Center personnel have the latitude to enforce
reasonable disciplinary action found to be warranted by
specific situations. Violation of Community Center
policy may result in expulsion from the Center, loss of
membership privileges, or revocation of membership that
is outlined in Community Center policy #203 |
