MEMBER ATTIRE
I. OBJECTIVE To achieve an environment that defines
proper attire in regard to the facility area in use and
that doesn’t denigrate others on the basis of age, race,
color, religion, creed, national origin, gender, sexual
orientation or disability or that is contrary to The
Community Centers mission.
II. CONTENT Community Center users must recognizes
that proper apparel is required in the area being used
to ensure their and others safety and that a welcoming
environment to all is maintained. Members and guests of
The Community Center must recognize that clothing that
contain messages that are vulgar, offensive, obscene or
libelous; that denigrate others on the basis of race,
color, religion, creed, national origin, gender, sexual
orientation, disability or that is otherwise contrary to
The Community Centers mission. Appropriate apparel must
be worn in accordance with the facility area being used.
Members and guests wearing inappropriate attire will be
required to change, turn the clothing inside out, or
they will not be allowed to use The Community Center,
especially if the attire creates a safety hazard.
III. PROPER ATTIRE FOR AREA OF USE
A. Lobby Area and Family Center: Clothing and
shoes are required.
B. Aquatics Area: Cut off blue jeans are not
allowed. Swimming attire is only allowed in the aquatics
area, meeting room (if renting) or locker room area.
Swim diapers are required if the Child wears a regular
diaper.
C. Racquetball Courts: Clothing, shoes, and
goggles are required. No outside shoes are allowed.
D. Aerobic Studio: Clothing and shoes are
required. No outside shoes are allowed.
E. Double Gymnasium: Gym attire and shoes are
required. No outside shoes are allowed. Shirts are
required outside of the double gymnasium.
F. Wellness Center: Clothing and shoes are
required. No outside shoes are allowed.
G. Walking Track: Clothing and shoes are
required. A change of shoes is required, if they are
muddy or create a safety hazard.
H. Multi-Purpose Gym: Clothing and shoes are
required. A change of shoes is required, if they are
muddy or create a safety hazard. |
