Athletic Enhancement Objectives:
The Community Center athletic enhancement
training program emphasis exercise techniques to increase
sprint speed, vertical jump, anaerobic condition, and
strength to make athletes faster and more explosive. Achieve
a “Winning Edge” through the
athletic enhancement training program.
Program Objectives

Build athletes, while preventing injury!

Improve sills that govern speed and power (agility,
power, flexibility, strength and metabolic conditioning)
-
Teach athletes healthy nutritional habits that will
enhance their performance
Training Options:
The Community Center athletic training team
will discuss each athletes training goals and conduct a
pre-assessment questionnaire to determine which athletic
training program will best increase their athletic
performance to achieve the “Winning Edge”.
Community Center athletic enhancement training includes a
combination of the following training options adapted to
each groups or your specific sport.

Muscular Enhancement – use free weights,
weight machines, and functional training exercises to
increase overall strength in order to develop a balanced
physique

Athletic Development – Woodway Treadmill
training sessions will increase power output, improve
sprinting speed, and cardiovascular endurance

Speed and Agility Training – use
plyometric training to increase foot speed, strengthen
core, increase coordination and proprioception.

Enhancement Package (Payment) options:
Individual (One-on-One) training
- Maximize athletic growth and development by working one –
on – one with an athletic trainer. An individual athletic
training program is geared towards their specifi c goals and
sport(s).

Group Training (3-5) -
Athletic enhancement training offered in small groups allows
athletes to train with each other. Athletes select the group
time that best fi ts their schedule or different group
training times may be established for athletes signing up
together. (Two make-up sessions allowed)

Thursday Time: 8:00 - 9:00 am
