Parents may participate with children at no
additional cost. All children will receive a T-shirt and
medals will be awarded to the top 3 in each division. You must
provide your own tricycle, big wheel, or bicycle for the bike
portion of the event.

The clinic is open to all area
children. Golfers of all skill levels are encouraged to
participate. Lunch is provided and cost is included within the
registration fee. Limited number of golf clubs available.
Please bring clubs if possible.

Children will be introduced to the basic skills of tumbling,
movement & cheer through a variety of mat exercises that
will focus on the development of coordination in a
supervised environment. Please Note: Participants should
wear leotards or shorts, please no tights. No shoes will be
allowed on the mats.

Building
This gymnastic class will introduce Madison & the
surrounding area youth to the basic skills and body
positions of gymnastics. No session on July 3rd or 5th..

Be a scientist for a week! Participants will discover the
wacky world of science by exploring the areas of biology,
chemistry, physics, and weather. Experiments include
creating lighting & fog, making ooey gooey slime, floating
eggs, launching pop bottles, and much more. Bring an old
t-shirt for a smock.

Explore the wild world around us by participating in the
conservation & environmental education program emphasizing
on wildlife.The class will meet at a variety of designated
locations during the course of the program.

Munchkins n’ Motion will teach social, cognitive, and
coordination skills through the introduction of sport and
team building activities, along with musical and singing
activities. Sessions will be structured on the basis of a
physical education age-appropriate curriculum.

Want to learn fun and new art activities? If you are either
of these, join the group for Arts and Crafts where children
will learn to draw, color, design, build, and make fun
crafts through planned activities and with their own
imagination!

This program will be non-contact, designed to develop
individual techniques and team skills including personalized
instruction on passing, receiving, kicking, offensive and
defensive positioning through structured drills.

Archery will teach children the basic fundamentals of how to
properly and safely use the bow and arrow. Children will get
to use fun and easy targets to hone their skills. All
equipment is provided.

Registration will be taken the night of the meet. A copy of
the registration form may be obtained at the front desk of
The Community Center or at the track on the day of the
competition State meet will be held in Spearfish on Saturday

Fee: $20 Maximum: 15 Age: 8 and up
Learn the basics of scrap booking: picture selection,
cropping, color coordination, embellishing, journaling and
much more. You supply the photos; we supply the rest of the
materials! There are several topics to choose from such as
pets, sports, family, friends, holidays, trips, and
vacations. Choose one or choose them all. There is a maximum
of 15 participants per class. Participants must be at least
8 years old.

Get Ready to Move! Participants will dance
to a variety of music to learn different styles and
techniques. Program will introduce different dance styles
such as ballet, jazz, hip hop, and modern dance.
Participants need to wear exercise clothes and soft
slippers.

Students will build and launch a model rocket. Participants
will learn the basic concepts of rocketry as it relates to
design and safety. All supplies will be provided.

This great program will give your child a chance to
get out and play all their favorite games and sports. Basic
skill development, group cooperation, introduction to new
sports and having a great time will be emphasized. A new
game or sport will be introduced each day.

Grade: 1st-2nd, 3rd-4th, 5th-6th
Girls Basketball is designed to teach girls the skills and
fundamentals of basketball. Sessions will be held on Mondays
& Wednesdays. Scrimmages will be scheduled on Wednesdays for
the final two weeks.

Boys Basketball is designed to teach boys the skills and
fundamentals of basketball. Sessions will be held on
Tuesdays & Thursdays. Scrimmages will be scheduled on
Thursdays for the final two weeks.

1st-2nd, 3rd-4th, 5th, 6th
This program will be used to help individuals learn about
the sport of volleyball. Fundamental techniques will be
taught before the children are placed in teams. Knee pads
are strongly recommended, but are not required..
