Community Center Triathlon

Date: Saturday, April 19th
Fee: $30.00 for Members

The Community Center Triathlon consists of a 300yd. snake swim at the Community Center indoor pool, 9 mile bike and 2.25 mile run. You can compete individually or as a 3 person team with each team member doing one of the legs of the race. Fee includes T-shirt and chip timing use. (Registration Deadline: April 12th)

Spring Soccer

Date: April 1st - May 1st
Time: K - 2nd Grade 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
  3rd - 4th 5:00 pm - 6:00pm
Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Fee: $15.00 per player
Location: Baughman - Belatti Soccer Fields

Spring Soccer will be held for children in grades K through 6th grade. Children will be taught the basics of soccer, with fundamentals being taught on practice days. Smaller goals balls and fields will be used once again this session to meet the physical abilities of each age group. There must be a minimum of 15 students in a single section to hold that section of soccer.

Junior Art Clinic

Date: April 2nd - April 30th
Time: 4:00 - 4:45 pm  
Days: Wednesdays
Fee: $25 for Members
$35 for Non Members

Ages: 10 and up
Class Maximum: 20

This class is a great way to introduce children to the world of art.  Junior Art Clinic will teach your child the basic fundamentals and illustrations of art and drawing. This class will encourage your children to observe the world around them, use their imagination,
and have fun. All supplies and materials are included in the fee.

Gardening Seminar

Date: Tuesday, April 15th
Time: 6:00 - 7:00 pm  
Instructor: Ted LaFleur  
Fee: Free to Members
Non-Members - $5

Seminar will cover topics including spring landscape maintenance, perennials/annuals, planning and planting. Time will be available at the end of the seminar for answering any questions dealing with your spring garden.

Dr. Seuss Night

Date: February 26th
Time: 6:00 - 7:00 pm  
Day: Tuesday  
Fee: Free  
Ages: Pre-K to 5th Grade
Location: Community Center Multi-Purpose Gym

Children in Pre-K to 5th grades are asked to come participate in a variety of educational games and activities. A surprise from the characters of “The Cat in the Hat” is expected, along with a visit from the DSU mascot. Students will receive a free children’s book, along with prizes and crafts.

Toddler Gym

Date: March 25th - May 1st
Days:  Tuesdays & Thursdays  
Time:  9:30 am - 10:20 am  
Fee: Free to Members
$10 for Non-Members
Ages:  3-6

Mom and Dad sign your children up for this fun and exciting class that will teach your child basic movement skills, personal space, and awareness in an active environment. Sessions are taught by DSU Elementary Education Majors.
