Youth Basketball League

Date: January 29th - March 15th
3rd - 4th Grades 5:00pm - 6:00pm   Community Center
5th - 6th Grades 5:30pm - 6:30pm   City Armory
Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Game days:  Saturdays
Fee: $15.00 for members
$25.00 for non-members

The Madison Parks and Recreation Department will offer a Youth Co-Ed Basketball League for 3rd & 4th graders and 5th & 6th graders. Practices will be held on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5:00-6:00 pm at The Community Center for the 3rd & 4th graders. The 5th & 6th graders will hold practices from 5:30-6:30 pm at the City Armory. The 3rd & 4th grade participants will be divided into teams and games will be played every Saturday morning starting February 9th and ending March 15th. Registration forms are available at the front desk.


Spring Soccer

Date: April 1st - May 1st
Ages: K - 2nd Grade 4pm - 5pm
  3rd - 4th Grade 5pm - 6pm
Days: Tuesday and Thursday
Fee: $15.00 per child
Location: Baughman/Belatti Soccer Fields

Spring Soccer will be held for children in grades K through 6th grade. Children will be taught the basics of soccer, with fundamentals being taught on practice days. Smaller goals balls and fields will be used once again this session to meet the physical abilities of each age group. There must be a minimum of 15 students in a single section to hold that section of soccer.


Junior Art Clinic

April 2nd - April 30th

This class is a great way to introduce children to the world of art. Junior Art Clinic will teach your child the basic fundamentals and illustrations of art and drawing. This class will encourage your children to observe the world around them, use their imagination, and have fun. All supplies and materials are included in the fee.

Location:

Community Center Meeting Room

Mom and Dad sign your children up for this fun and exciting class that will teach your child basic movement skills, personal space, and awareness in an active environment. Sessions are taught by DSU Elementary Education Majors.
