A 3.5 million dollar Outdoor Aquatic Center is currently under construction at Westside Park. The 7,500 square foot water park will feature a zero depth entry area, water play feature area, otter slide, geysers, 22 ft waterwalk, diving board, and a flume slide with a runout.

In addition the aquatic center will provide a new concessions area, bathhouse, birthday party pads, shade umbrellas, and plenty of sun turf. The new aquatic center is projected to average over 400 participants per day, with 650 swimmers on busy days and offer Madison, plus surrounding area residents a state-of-the-art recreational swimming facility during the summer months.
